Began career with Gulf Oil Corporation in 1973 as an economist in its nuclear subsidiary; moved to Pittsburgh as manager of economic analysis in the Corporate
Planning and Economics Department; appointed director of corporate planning for Downstream Operations; transferred to Houston as director of planning for
central division of Gulf's U.S. Exploration and Production Company; named chief economist and director of strategic planning for Gulf Oil Corporation in 1983.
Came to GSIA in 1985 as Associate Dean and Director of Executive Education. 1993-2000 Director of Undergraduate Economics.
