This course provides practical, usable, and relevant practice and study in written communications strategies critical for professional managerial success. While students must excel in strong written English usage, they also are expected to move beyond sentence-level issues to enact current best-practices in corporate writing and document structure. Assignments will enable students to target decision-makers’ needs, craft verbal and quantitative arguments, and provide problem-solving, action-oriented content. They will learn these strategies through multiple written assignments as they interact with faculty, second-year mentors, select MBA staff, and corporate leaders.
