Operations research techniques provide effective, profitable methods for solving business problems. This course looks into how these methods are implemented in practice. The course revolves around a commercial programming package used to succinctly describe very large linear, integer, and constraint programming problems. Students will be expected to develop applications similar to those that arise in practice.
