Groups and Teams in Organizations examines the design, management, and leadership of teams in organizational settings. The focus is on the interpersonal processes and structural characteristics that influence the effectiveness of groups and teams when engaged in a variety of tasks, including task performance, decision making, product development, and problem solving. A mix of readings, cases, and experiential exercises are used in this course.
